Manual task handling
Managers inspect requests, assign employees and follow service progress using the current Command Center.
Compare two ways of coordinating the same guest service requests, including when automation adds value and where managers retain control.
Manual task coordination remains a complete operational workflow; optional Autopilot adds attendance-aware task offers while preserving the same underlying requests.
Managers inspect requests, assign employees and follow service progress using the current Command Center.
When enabled and available, the engine checks attendance, team, capacity and urgency before offering work to eligible employees.
Autopilot does not change accepted task ownership when switched off. A manager can always intervene.
Production readiness must be established with real cloud and device testing; a passing local simulation is not the same as a live hotel deployment.
Do this in a staging or controlled pilot environment, not on a busy shift without a tested rollback.
Record how the hotel currently handles a towel request.
Compare the roster with staff who actually QR checked in.
Verify that only eligible employees can accept work and only one wins.
Turn Autopilot OFF mid-offer and confirm unaccepted offers are invalidated.

With Manual Mode, the manager directly assigns hotel service tasks. With Autopilot enabled, checked-in employees receive workload-aware offers and the first valid acceptance confirms ownership. A connected manager browser is needed for continuing browser-coordinated automation; switching OFF cancels unaccepted offers but preserves accepted work.
