How to interpret your results

Formulas and assumptions

Understand what is included before using the result in a staffing or finance decision.

Methodology

Revenue = daily orders × average ticket. Variable contribution = revenue × (1 − food-and-beverage-cost fraction) minus other variable cost per order. Monthly operating profit deducts fixed monthly labor and overhead from monthly contribution. Break-even volume uses monthly fixed costs divided by contribution per order.

Limitations

Figures exclude taxes, platform fees, depreciation and unlisted costs. Shared labor and fixed hotel overhead require careful allocation. Negative contributions mean extra orders alone cannot produce a positive margin.
